New York [US], September 16: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted 121 km W of Copiapo, Chile, at 18:07:39 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 4.9 km, was initially determined to be at 27.33 degrees south latitude and 71.55 degrees west longitude.
