As part of the build-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup starting next month, the trophy tour reached Kathmandu on its global journey. Launched last year from Adam’s Bridge (Ram Setu), the tour’s symbolic start was highlighted during a ceremony in the Nepali capital. Earlier, President Ram Chandra Paudel unveiled the trophy at Sheetal Niwas, calling it a proud moment that reflects Nepal’s growing presence in world cricket and its positive impact on youth. Later, the Cricket Association of Nepal showcased the trophy in the presence of the country’s men’s and women’s national teams.
