On US–Israeli air superiority, Austrian aerial warfare analyst and historian Tom Cooper says, "It is a stupid war, launched by Israel, which has managed to coerce the White House into playing a part... This war was launched to reshape the future political and diplomatic landscape of the Middle East because Israel recognizes that U.S. power is waning, and it needs to secure its future... As for the precision and effectiveness of the campaign led by U.S. and Israeli forces, primarily the Israeli Air Force, it is indeed highly precise....
