
Myanmar reports 13 new COVID-19 positive cases

Yangon [Myanmar], July 14: Myanmar confirmed 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally to 613,773 on Wednesday, according to the country's Health Ministry.
The health authorities tested 6,283 people for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was 0.21 percent.
The ministry said that the death toll from COVID-19 in the country remained unchanged at 19,434 as no new deaths were confirmed in the past 24 hours.
The total number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in the country reached 592,679 including eight new recoveries.
Myanmar has vaccinated over 29.97 million people aged 18 and above and 5.7 million people under 18 years old against COVID-19 as of July 12, it said.
